Where the Tree Bows

Where the Tree Bows

During the early morning hike in Lake Louise, as I ventured along the lower lakeside trail, I came across this bend in the path, joined by this bent tree. I don't really know why I felt so intrigued by this specific tree but felt the need to capture this moment. The sun had yet to peak over the mountains so I adjusted my ISO and f-stop, stood on the bank of the shore to angle the path away from me and centre the trees in the viewfinder. Crouching down to line up my horizons I shot this photograph, a young tree bowing to the magnificence of the mountains across the lake.
