You can't go to Maui without enjoying the sunset. On this trip we would often walk down to the beach after supper to sit on the beach and watch the sun disappear over the horizon. After a few evenings of mistakenly leaving my camera up at the house I finally brought it down with me. After climbing over rocks and wading through tide pools for a good 30 minutes I finally found my spot and sat in wait. I sat for what felt like an hour with my eye pressed against the view finder waiting for the perfect moment when the sun would drop down from behind the clouds, the waves would crash against the rock, and the colours would peak. Waiting for the perfect moment where the sun would meet the ocean. Where fire meets water.
