As I was driving along the number 1 highway through the mountains early in the morning. Still waking up, I came across this bend in the road just as the sun started to peak over the distance mountains. The rush of awe and need to capture this moment rushed over me and immediately woke me up. Thankfully, there were very few cars on the road so I pulled over and captured a few shots of the sunrise. I quickly hopped back in the car and got to enjoy the breathtaking scenery for the rest of my drive that morning.
