On our way up to Waimoku Falls on the Pipiwai Trail we encountered this bridge. A short break from the dense forest canopy allowing us a quick glimpse at the sky before we would disappear back into the unknown trail ahead. Thanks to the patience of my group, I spent a good while here trying to frame the entrance back into the forest and accentuate the leading lines of the bridge. Squatting up and down, moving a couple steps back and forth, trying to find the perfect angle to turn this otherwise ordinary bridge into something that pulls you and your attention in. Pulling any viewer onwards, into the unknown.
