During our stay in Hana, we explored just North around the Wai'anapanapa State Park and their black sand beaches. Here was got to see incredible rock formations, sea caves, seaside cliffs, incredible displays of the oceans power, and an absolutely incredible contrast of colours. As we explored, I came across this perspective of one of the coves. I was stuck at this overlook and couldn't figure out why I found it so captivating. I took out my camera and as I shot I realized that the curvature of the shoreline so closely resembled the golden ratio, something that I have been trying to incorporate more into my photographs.
